If you missed your chance to go whitewater rafting this summer, it’s not too late. Go to the Whitewater Center north of Charlotte on Nov. 8th for the 2nd Annual Oyster Roast. Raft the rapids or just enjoy the oyster roast and the music of local artists. It’s also not too late to attend the Carolina Renaissance Festival. This is one of the largest Renaissance fairs nationwide—filled with arts/crafts, food, and non-stop music and comedy shows on 10 stages—weekends only through Nov. 16th. If that’s not enough, stop by the Panther’s Stadium for the Taste of the NFL on Nov. 11th—visit with the players and sample food & wine from over 16 restaurants.
