Alzheimer’s Association to hold Annual Golf Tournament:

Did you know that one in six people over the age of 65 have some form of dementia and that one in two over the age of 80 have Alzheimer’s.?

There is a very active chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association serving Lancaster and York counties in SC.  They offer education on the disease, facilitate support groups for caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer’s, and even have a grant program.

The local chapter is holding their annual Alzheimer’s Association Golf Tournament on May 19^th at Springfield Golf Club in Fort Mill.  The event is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association and will be a top notch experience for all participating golfers.  Contact Sarah Bost at the Alzheimer’s Association office at (803) 327-4715 for more information about the Golf Tournament or any of the Association’s programs and services.
