Waxhaw Lecture Series Begins! Calling all Lifelong Learners! Benjamin Farley will be first keynote speaker in the 2013 Lecture Series, brought to you by the Waxhaw–Weddington Rotary Club and the Museum of the Waxhaws. Tickets will be sold at the door, $10. Farley’s newest book, Three Thousand Days and Nights, will be the focus of discussion, recounting the passions/ interests/clashes of Indian, French, British and Colonials in early America. Farley is the author of many works, including four novels, set principally in the South. Sunday, Feb. 17th, 3pm, Museum of the Waxhaws.
