Jerry’s Bathroom Remodeling Tips
Tile – Go for porcelain or glazed tiles. Try to avoid porous, natural stone tiles like limestone because they require constant upkeep.
Caulk – Use an acrylic or hybrid formula. You can remove these without the use of harsh chemicals so replacement is easier.
Grout – Bostik’s TruColor premixed grout is pricey and sets quickly, but the nonporous, urethane formula resists cracks, won’t stain, and doesn’t require sealing.
Soaking Tub – Be careful when installing one. Make sure the water heater is large enough to fill the tub while still providing hot water.
