Who hasn’t seen the sign, driving home from our new Wal-Mart? Right down the road, Indian Land will celebrate fall at the Indian Land Middle School on September 25 from 10am to 3pm. Kid friendly, this festival benefits school programs in Indian Land, the Lancaster Children’s Home and Highway 521 Cleanup. This year, though, festival patrons will be treated to the first SC State Chili Cook-off Championship, sponsored by the IL Rotary Club. The winner will go on to stir the beans in an international cook-off held in Terlingua, Texas in November. This is a great way to support our local community and spread some Sun City sunshine!
